Galway

Well I've been in Galway almost a week now, and I can definitely feel the difference between here and Dublin. Galway is a much smaller, quieter town with virtually no foreigners, except the ones studying in the large college here.
Its a welcome change from the big city, and exactly what I was looking for, in an authentic Irish town. I think I've managed to walk down all the city streets, experiencing the quiet this country has to offer.
One beautiful thing about my suburban flat is that it is right on the water, and I have to walk down the Prom to get to town, a walk I very much look forward to every morning. I've taken some gorgeous pictures on my walks, so enjoy :)

The whole country is abuzz with St Patrick's Day events, everyday for the last few days has brought carnivals and parades, and every night has brought music and drinking. Early tomorrow I head out to Dublin to experience the day at it's craziest. Until then, good Purim!!!
